Hello and welcome to my new little space here. I always feel that starting fresh can be invigorating and uplifting. It has been quite a while since I have blogged and I am hoping to use this space as a place to sort out all my thoughts and ideas, since they vary greatly. I am the type of person who is constantly changing (at least in my head) and going from one new thing to another because I just want to do all the things. While I know I won’t get to everything and every place in my lifetime, I just want to experience as much as I can. Which would probably be easier for someone who is an extrovert and not an introverted homebody like myself. I have a broad range of interests and I want to use this space to gather my thoughts and sort them out.
I want my little corner of the internet to feel inspirational and like a small library of learning, as we carry on trying new things. What are you interested in? What are some things that you carve out time to do? Or would like to make a priority? I am always feeling like I start new things and don’t have the mental space to keep up or remember to do them. I enjoy reading. I mostly like quick beach reads, but also like Historical Fiction, Biographies, and many others. I have been pretty busy this year being a mom, finishing my bachelor degree, and working a new full time job that required a large learning curve. I did, however, manage to reach my goal (and beyond) of reading 12 books this year.
What I have read in 2019:
French Dirt: The Story of a Garden in the South of France by Richard Goodman
A Summer Affair by Elin Hilderbrand
The Beekeeper’s Ball by Susan Wiggs
One Day in December: A Novel by Josie Silver
Sunset Beach by Mary Kay Andrews
Winter In Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand
On A Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher
Boss Up! by Lindsay Teague Moreno
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
When Less Becomes More by Emily Ley
The Secrets We Kept by Lara Prescott
And I am currently reading:
The Southern Side of Paradise (Book 3) by Kristy Woodson Harvey

What are you currently reading? What is in your to be read pile? Any good books you have enjoyed? Do you like to read a physical book or do you read them electronically? I like a physical book and it can be hard for me to read on my phone or iPad, but I also enjoy listening to audiobooks. That way I can listen while I am driving to and from work or pop my AirPods and listen while I grocery shop. I like the flexibility of having choices in case I can’t always have a book on hand.
